As some of our friends make the decision to take on the responsibility of puppies or babies, we thought about our options and decided to become responsible parents of...GOLDFISH. Its about baby steps. After having an OCF game night with 3 toddlers all under 3 years old, Steve and I thought about waiting a little (actually a lot) longer before having children. The puppy idea wouldn't work with our current lifestyle and I'm now finding that Steve isn't the biggest fan of cats SO no furry animals for us right now. I thought fish would be a neutral ground.
My wonderful husband had only two stipulations about getting fish, we must get two and their names must be From The Halls of Montezuma and To The Shores of Tripoli. After a trip to Wal-Mart we came home with two beautiful goldfish :) We have shortened their names to Fthom & Ttsot.
Fthom is gold & Ttsot is black and gold
An additional note to our North Carolina "Vacation" while Steve was going from meeting to meeting, I spent the morning on Onslow Beach and then had a pedicure. I like being a military wife :)
