Mom and a Movie

Yesterday I saw Julie & Julia. My mom and I found a movie theater half way between us and we made a day of it. Or at least we attempted to make a day of it, Mom had car trouble but we still have time for lunch and a movie. The movie was good, the main character (Julie) we both found a little obnoxious, and the food looked amazing! It made me want to go out and get Mastering the Art of French Cooking by Julia Child but after see the amount of butter used in French cooking for the sake of my health (and waist) I  rethought the purchase.   

Also I love my mother, it was wonderful catching up over wraps and starbucks :)
