Celebrating

Tomorrow is our 2-year anniversary! Last year we visited a winery and this year we decided to visit another winery (a tradition in the making). After a little research I found a winery about an hour from the house. Duplin winery is located in Rose Hill and it turns out to be the largest winery in the south. I pictured a quaint winery surrounded by vineyards and was instead greeted by a store with a huge tasting room on a road in rural nowhere. We had a good laugh about our expectations when visiting a winery :)

Steve was sweet and called ahead to ask about flowers, the receptionist said there was a rose bush out front and she would pull something together. You can't beat Southern hospitality :)

My beautiful flowers from the store's garden :)

Yay for two years! I love this man.

When we drove into Rose Hill we were greeted by this sign.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen Rose Hill is the home of the world's largest frying pan!

We had to check it out.

It holds 200 gallons of oil and can fry some ridiculous number like 394 chickens at one time.

Only in North Carolina
