The 22:31 post was actually posted by Steve
The "yet to be determined date" has arrived. I was told that as soon as you get married you should/must start a blog :) So here I am writing in my home in Norfolk, joining the blog world.
I thought I would start by sharing one of the pictures taken by our photographer on our wedding. The excitement of our new life together is evident in this photo, Steve and I love it.

We clean up pretty well ;)
We were blessed with the opportunity to take a week long honeymoon in the Poconos up in PA and we had a wonderful relaxing week. Steve had saved up so much leave that we were able to return from our honeymoon and still have a week until he had to return to work. This was a HUGE blessing as it gave us the ability to settle in and not live out of boxes.

About to leave my mom's house with our 16 Ft Truck & Mazda packed
Also during that week we were able to get my dependent military ID card and start the name change process with Social Security and DMV. I received my new social security card this week, its official, I'm Abigail Elise Haack :)
The last thing I will leave you with is this, in the honor of new beginnings, a picture of my running shoes. As you can see they are in decent condition and yet they are from my sophomore year of college. This would mean I probably was not the most avid runner. I made the "mistake" of telling my marathon running husband while we were still engaged that once we got married he would have to get me in shape. I thought this would mean going to the gym and doing cardio machines things. To Steve this meant that we would start running together. I'm surviving and at this point we go for our "run" around our neighborhood then Steve leaves me at our house to go for a real run :) I love my husband and we will see if I need new shoes soon.
I'm off to bake a quiche, I like being domestic
Yay, Abby! I am so glad you joined the blogginw world. Miss you and I hope you are loving Norfolk!
