I'm not sure where to start. It's been a while. We've been BUSY and between the travel and lack of sleep, I haven't had the energy to update the blog. Josiah is just over 4 months old! It so fun watching him grow, he is getting so aware of what is going on around him. As mentioned before we've been traveling, a lot. I counted and in the past 4 months we've only been home (without visitors) for 45 days! The longest stretch was 8 days. It's been great having family visit and visiting family but we're tired of traveling. Unfortunately the Marine Corps didn't agree and once we got back from our last trip Steve left for 6 weeks of training in California :(
At the end of July we had Steve's mom visit.

Laughing boy
The day after Chris left we drove 15+ hours hours to Michigan! Josiah was awesome in the car. We spent the weekend in Traverse City with Steve's housemates from college. Michigan in the summer is beautiful! Now most of the guys are married and starting to have babies. FIVE babies within 11 months and twins on the way!
Next generation! Hope College 2034 :)
We returned home and Samson was happy to see us.
He likes to keep a close eye on Josiah
Our next adventure took us much further west! My family gathered in South Dakota at my Mom's house.

Just found this post also... clearly, I am a lousy over-involved, snoopy mother! And you have had a busy summer.... lots of good memories. I love the picture of Josiah being airplaned by Drew.
ReplyDeleteBut that picture with all the babies.... just think, in 20 years of all the photos of that group of kiddos and the other babies to come. I love that you are connected to such nice people.
