Saturday we spent time with our dear friend Brooke to celebrated her 30th birthday! Brian (Brooke's husband) had found out about the SPCA Dog Walk and had been planning on taking her there for the festivities. Brooke loves dogs but where they currently live they can't have one so Brian asked if Brooke could "borrow" Samson for the Dog Walk part of the day. Samson was happy to oblige.
We love this couple! Such amazing friends, they have truly blessed our lives.
Brooke loves dogs but she adores Dachshunds.
There was a Dachshund Rescue at the event...Brooke was in heaven :)
Saturday afternoon, Steve and I went with our other good friends (Emily & Derek Sorenson) over to the dog beach on Fort Monroe.
